My sister and I are starting a dog walking bussiness…we are 14 &15. We need to make calling cards. Here is the info I need on it. Can you please make it sound good and official and stuff? Thanks!
Neighborhood Dog Walking Available!
We are available most days 9am-1pm. We have alot of experience with dogs. Walks are 30 minutes long. $5.00 per walk.
Thanks for the answers everyone…I know I have to put contact information on there…but I’m not going to post it on yahoo. Also my sister and I have to split the money…so it will actually only be $5 an hour.

“alot” should be a lot.
You need contact information on the card. Your names and telephone number and/or e-mail address.

First of all, rethink your rate….I think $10 per hour is too much for young teen-agers. Maybe two 30 minute walks per day for $7.00 would be attractive.
(morning & afternoon).
Next….when you pass our fliers, make sure your spelling is correct. (business is spelled with one “s”).
Third, make sure your parents check out the people who want to use your services.
Fourth…..give more than you promise!!!

In advertising you want things to be quick, to the point & easily read. Especially if you’re making signs that people are going to be driving by.

I think you have to set official times that you WILL be available, not just we might be available, which comes across in your wording. I would also state the experience that you do have with dogs, since you are both quite young. Over 20 years combined experience looking after all breeds of dogs!
Of course, you can’t just make stuff up, it has to be accurate.
Like the other person suggested, $10 an hour is a heck of a lot of money to be paying to young children.
